10 places we’ve worked

In our third Power of 10 list, we reminisce about some of the amazing places we have worked over the past ten years.

The ten places we worked we want to highlight are:

1

Mumbai, India

Running an immersive learning program

We travelled to India in 2019 to run a Social Enterprise Hackathon that brought together corporate leaders and inspiring social partners to work on challenges facing the partner organizations. As part of this experience, leaders visited a school called Aseema, which equips children from marginalized communities with high quality education.

1

London, England

Coaching on our back doorstep

Given its proximity to our company headquarters, it’s not uncommon for us to work in beautiful London, where we run workshops and programs for a number of clients, including stopping by the Institute of Directors near Trafalgar Square for 1-1 executive coaching sessions.

1

São Paulo, Brazil

Running a design thinking workshop

In 2019 we travelled to Brazil for the Global Conference of the World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL). While there, Shannon Banks ran a workshop on Design Thinking & Action Learning and contributed to work of the WIAL Better World Fund, helping look at how WIAL can use action learning to improve lives globally.

1

New York City, USA

Attending a conference on purpose

We never like to say no to work in New York City, where we have had the opportunity to attend conferences on purpose and run workshops bringing together leaders and inspiring partners. We had a memorable trip to New York to run a Social Enterprise Hackathon in 2019.

1

Nairobi, Kenya

Volunteering at an inspiring preschool

We have spent a lot of time in Kenya over the past decade, and have appreciated learning and working alongside wonderful organizations like Kidspire, who help children in remote regions of Kenya to access and attend school. Their Thika school, The Karibu Centre, inspired us to start our Stuff a Stocking project that we still run annually.

1

Budapest, Hungary

Training coaches in social leadership

We love working with other coaching professionals! In Budapest we had the opportunity to run a full-day workshop on social leadership for coaches from Hungary, helping them think about why social leadership matters and how to coach and develop the social leaders they work
with and support.

1

Shanghai, China

Giving a keynote at a global conference

Ni hao! The WIAL Global Conference in 2017 took us to China, where we met hundreds of action learning coaches from around the world. Shannon Banks did a presentationon the value of a coaching culture that was simultaneously translated into Mandarin and enjoyed some time visiting the surrounding countryside with WIAL colleagues.

1

Paris, France

Working wth our long-term clients

We feel lucky to have several wonderful clients based in France and have spent many wonderful working weeks in Paris and the surrounding area. Some of our favourite
memories include meetings and programs in Châteauform venues and with BNP Paribas at their Louveciennes campus .

1

San Patrignano, Italy

Supporting an inspiring drug rehab community

San Patrignano is a whole community in Italy that offers free support to those suffering from drug addiction. It has an amazing 72% success rate. In 2017, we helped them work with leaders from BNP Paribas to create plans for their 40th anniversary.

1

Virtual

Running powerful online experiences

We have always been a virtual team, but since 2020 we have run hundreds of online programs. We pride ourselves in designing immersive and engaging virtual programs, including Social Leadership in Practice, which is an 8-part workshop series that helps leaders connect how they lead with why.

Power of ten

We’re turning 10! This year marks our 10th year in business and to celebrate the “Power of 10” and exponential impact, we will be sharing 10 lists of 10 things throughout 2025.
