As Be Leadership approaches its 10-year anniversary and the New Year is just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to reflect, set intentions, and think about the kind of leader you want to be in the year ahead. We’re excited to kick off the celebration with a new campaign that invites our entire community to do just that. We are calling it: “This Year I Will Be.” This campaign is all about embodying leadership in your own unique way—whether it’s through embracing new qualities, nurturing growth, or simply being the best version of yourself. What do you aspire to be in the coming year? How do you want to lead? What qualities do you want to strengthen? Each one of us has our own leadership path, and that’s what makes Be Leadership and our partners such a vibrant, inspiring community. Through this campaign, we aim to showcase the many ways social leadership appears in our lives—every day, in small and big ways. We’re inviting each of you to reflect on a quality or aspiration that resonates with you, then print out our PDF template and fill in the blank: “This year I will be _______.”

It could be anything from courageous to patient, adventurous, or even resilient. The important part is that it reflects your personal journey and what you want to embody in the coming year. Once you’ve chosen your word or phrase, we’d love for you to take part in the fun by recording a short video! Simply print and fill out the template, hold it up in front of the camera, hit record, and say, “This year I will be _______” with your chosen word. Post this video with the hashtag #thisyeariwill and tag us if you can—we’d love to follow along and see the intentions you are setting for yourselves. These videos will be featured across our social media channels to inspire others and celebrate the diverse ways we lead within the Be Leadership community. We believe that leadership isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s about embracing who you are and who you aspire to be. Whether you’re setting big goals or making small shifts in your life, this campaign is an opportunity to share those intentions and lead with purpose.
