About Elly

Elly Roper is an experienced online event coordinator, marketer and project manager. Originally from Texas, she now lives in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North of England. Her passion is connecting people and helping others develop their passions into lucrative careers.

Leaving a little piece of her heart in Maine when she came to the UK in 2009, she completed a Masters at Newcastle University in Cross-Cultural Communications and International Marketing. This achievement is reflected in her work with Be Leadership as Elly is responsible for making online events happen. She is dedicated to making sure everyone in our events are well looked after, recognising that online events often bring a whole set of challenges. Luckily, she has the necessary nerves of steel to meet those challenges.

Completely unflappable, she loves the energy of working with Be Leadership. She brings a sense of calm to all our technical rehearsals, as well as her wealth of technical know-how. Our clients benefit from her total and invisible support, leaving them free to concentrate on the work at hand. She understands how nerve-wracking online meetings and events can be, and works several steps ahead to make sure our tech is seamless. With bucketloads of enthusiasm, her warmth and ability to explain tech clearly and calmly makes the process of online meetings and events actually enjoyable.
