Our February Be Leadership selected charity is Against Malaria, which purchases and distributes long-lasting insecticidal nets that protect people from disease.
Our associate Richard Strudwick selected this charity because of their commitment to saving lives with every donation. Malaria currently kills around 625,000 people each year and a further 240 million fall ill. 70% of them are children under 5. Malaria is preventable with something as simple as a net.
Richard says, “We are as morally responsible for the people we cannot and will never see as we are for those living in our communities and our homes.”
At Be Leadership we donate 5% of our profits each month to purpose-led organisations that are selected by members of our team.
